Storage. Depending on how big your business gets, you’ll need ample room to store the books. You can’t get lazy or disorganized about it, either. You have to keep the books in good condition, and you need to be able to find them when someone wants them. For instance, if you list a book in “like new” condition, and then the pages get smashed during storage, you’ll be in a bind if someone places an order before you realize what happened.
Successfully working from home means exactly that: WORKING from your house. It takes focus, dedication, and perfecting the art of ignoring life’s little distractions—like your mailman, who only seems to ring the doorbell when you’re deep into a project, or the neighbors chatting it up outside your home office window. Knowing what you are good at and what you need to work on will really help you succeed. If staying on track, working each day, and being productive is something you struggle with, ask for help! I have a few people I check in with a few time a week to see how their work has gone! Never be afraid to ask when you need help.
Last but not least, you can also earn money online by building an online community, although the monetization strategies you can pursue will vary a lot depending on your goals. You can build a community with a blog, for example. You can also build an online forum and charge people for membership. You could even build up a Facebook group and use your influence there to sell and promote products.

Hi Cyndi! Haha. Yes, now, I can do it for the pure enjoyment of it rather than the intense pressure to write, write, write to survive. :) I definitely like it much better that way. I'm the same way with my art, actually. When I have to make art for money, it's no fun. When I create it out of love, it's such a thrilling process. I DO plan on doing a 30/30 hub challenge in July. :)

You absolutely have to be available for questions at all times. The general rule of thumb is that you want to respond to questions within 1 hour. I know it seems harsh, but if you call a company, do you want them to call you back next week? Or do you want help now? Because I guarantee you, they'll just go somewhere else, buy from someone else, and you lost the sale. Likewise, always be professional and polite. There are times where you'll wanna slap someone.
I’ve read elsewhere the optimistic messages of making money online, and understand the points in your post here too. Setting realistic expectations is important. I think my problem is being paralysed by fear of both success and/or failure. I’m afraid to be successful because it means putting myself out there (chronically shy), and scared shitless of failure for obvious reasons (generally around life security). Dress as if you are expecting company. There are some schools of thought that say this is not necessary. However, I'm of the belief that you will not be as productive if you "appear" at work in your pajamas or your very casual yoga workout clothes. Wearing such comfortable clothes may sound great, but you could psychologically be too relaxed, too comfortable to give the attention to your work that it deserves. I need an edge or a certain amount of tension to function. Getting dressed helps to establish that edge. You don't need to dress as if you are going in to the corporate office, but you wouldn't entertain company in a robe or your smelly workout clothes, either, would you? Nothing dressy required (although some do dress "up"), just something nice.
